The Explore studio at Zazil Retreat has a cozy vibe that instantly made me feel at home. The yoga equipment provided was top-notch, allowing me to have a fantastic workout during my stay. It was such a delight to find a place that caters to my active lifestyle.
Personally, I found the bungalows at Zazil Retreat to be a bit too spacious for my taste. But hey, I understand that others might enjoy having extra room to stretch out and relax.

Our stay at Zazil was absolutely incredible. The moment we stepped into our spacious and beautifully decorated room, we knew we were in for a treat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from our terrace were breathtaking. We loved spending lazy evenings in the hammocks, enjoying the cool ocean breeze. The location of the hotel, although a bit uphill, provided a sense of tranquility and space that was missing from the crowded beach. The breakfast spread, with fresh fruits and coffee, was exactly what we needed to start our day. And if we wanted to indulge ourselves, we could also book a delicious dinner at the hotel. Despite a few minor issues like unreliable wifi and a warm room, our overall experience at Zazil was exceptional.

I got amazing value for my money at this hotel. The room was beautiful and well-appointed, with a super comfy bed and a private porch with hammocks. The location was perfect for me, away from the main road and beach but still offering stunning views. The staff treated me like family and were always there to help.
The breakfast could have been better.

Our stay at this retreat was absolutely incredible! The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was beyond comfortable, and the views from the room were mind-blowing. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, with yoga classes and massages available. The swimming pool was calm and offered breathtaking views. The owner, Christa, was always available and went above and beyond to assist us in organizing activities like whale watching. The wifi may not have been perfect in the rooms, but it worked great in the common areas. The retreat is a short walk from the beach, which made it even more peaceful. The shower was amazing , and the mosquito nets kept us mosquito-free. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh coffee, bread, yoghurt, and fruit. Each day, we were provided with drinking water jugs. The traditional palapa-style accommodation gave us an authentic experience, and the terrace with the hammocks was a perfect spot to relax and soak in the stunning views. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and enjoyable stay.

Nestled on a lush hill, this secluded hotel boasts stunning views to the ocean below, providing a serene escape from the crowded main road and beach. The spacious rooms feature comfortable beds and stylishly appointed bathrooms with charming details. Guests will enjoy tasty self-produced breakfast in the open-air dining room, or relax in the cozy pool area. Some rooms have beautiful balconies, perfect for unwinding and savoring the view. Facilities include a yoga studio and helpful staff that show you places in the area.
Some guests may find the hotel's location on a hill difficult to access.

The service and housekeeping were top-notch, ensuring that the rooms were always clean and comfortable. They even offered a grocery shopping service and an airport shuttle, making my stay even more convenient. The staff members were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Additionally, the leisure facilities such as the swimming pool and outdoor areas were well-maintained and provided a perfect place to relax. I also loved the extra amenities like the welcome drink and the tours/ticket assistance, adding an extra touch of hospitality.
I recommend this hotel to all families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decoration of the hotel. The high palapa ceilings and the beautiful use of mosquito nets instead of windows gave the bungalow a unique and delightful atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and provided a sense of tranquility and relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff was always available to assist me and ensure that I had a comfortable stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more considerate of the noise levels. Sometimes, the children working on the construction or maintenance would be a bit noisy, which could disturb the peaceful ambiance of the hotel.

The view from the room was amazing and it was great waking up to it every day. The beds were comfortable and made sleeping at night a dream. the location was conveniently close to the beach and main street, making it easy to get around.
Getting to the hotel was quite a trek, with a steep hill to climb on foot that could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. , the pool area was under construction and unusable during the stay.
